Wilson Builders, Inc. has been building quality homes and projects in the Pittsburg area since 1994. With decades of experience in residential and commercial construction, we provide reliable, affordable solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Our mission is to create lasting value through craftsmanship, integrity, and community-focused building.
Dustin Wilson has had a lifetime of construction experience. With a father and grandfather in the homebuilding business, you could say he was born into it. Starting at an early age, he began helping his father on building sites, learning the basics of construction from the ground up.
In 1990, Dustin moved to Pittsburg to attend PSU and worked as a drywall finisher to support himself during college. After graduation, he gained more experience working with a retiring builder before officially founding Wilson Builders in 1994. For the next 24 years, Wilson Builders contracted, constructed, and remodeled hundreds of custom jobs and homes in the Pittsburg area.
In 2017, Dustin transitioned into commercial wood framing, playing a key role in the Block 22 project in downtown Pittsburg. His leadership salvaged the project, ensuring students could move into the buildings on time. He then focused on building the foundry, restaurants, and coffee shop which led him to a brief retreat from his business and taking a job with Vecino Construction, a subsidiary of the development company for Block 22. Dustin then built an affordable housing project as a superintendent and started the preconstruction and estimating department of the company before being promoted to Vice President of Construction. During that time period the company grew to double it’s size, building affordable housing projects across the nation.
In 2024, Dustin relaunched Wilson Builders with a focus on meeting the area’s housing needs. Starting with the Washington School Day Care project and city-supported infill housing, Wilson Builders is now poised to continue building homes and community-focused projects in the region.
